Clove essential oil is widely used as a dental anaesthetic and can be effective as a topical anaesthetic for mouth ulcers. It is shown that it prevents dental erosion and works in a similar way to fluoride in preventing cavities.

Clove essential oil, rich in eugenol, aids digestion by stimulating enzymes, reducing gas, bloating, and soothing stomach spasms. It acts as a carminative and antimicrobial agent, helping with nausea and, when diluted with carrier oil, can be massaged onto the abdomen.

Respiratory relief in cough and asthma:

Clove essential oil, rich in eugenol, acts as a natural expectorant and anti-inflammatory agent when inhaled by aromatherapy, helping to loosen mucus, clear nasal passages, and soothe throat irritation associated with bronchitis, asthma, and colds.

Topical Use
Dilute 1 drop in 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of carrier oil (jojoba, argan, or sweet almond) before applying it to the skin.

Aromatherapy
Promotes a sense of warmth, energy, and emotional comfort. It is ideal for diffusing to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

Dental

When diluted with an edible carrier oil, dab a clean cotton ball into the solution allowing it to soak in. While avoiding contact with your gum, apply the cotton ball to the sore tooth. It may take a few minutes of application to feel relief. You may reapply every 2 hours as necessary until you see a dentist.

Clove essential oil is highly potent and should always be well diluted before topical use. Avoid contact with eyes and sensitive areas. Not recommended for children. Use with caution during pregnancy or if you have underlying health conditions.
